4th Asia Intercontinental WUKF Karate Championship - 2012

 

 Dear Sir/Madam,

At the very outset, let me congratulate every person involved with the 4th Asia Intercontinental WUKF Karate Championship-2012 for making this event a truly spectacular one. The participants, officials, volunteers, AIBKF office bearers and especially the members of organising committee really did their best to make this as India's greatest International tournament to be held at the capital of India. 1200 participants from 15 contries including countries from Europe, exhibited their best skills in the art of Karate Do for three days. The Talkatora Indoor Stadium witnessed the best Karate performance in the days to come. In addition, it was a technically superb tournament with all Tatamis working on Wi Fi without any paperwork. It is a first time for an International Tournament for India. Nearly 65 officials from India and abroad trained under the able leadership of Chief Referee of WUKF Mr. Ivan  Lewis for one and half day in the Referee Seminar. The result was that we had a really good judgment in all the events. Most of our officials were promoted to Continental Referee grade and some to even Continental Chief Referee Grade ! Congratulations to everyone !

I must really appreciate the hard work done by the organising committee with Mr. Vinit Maharia at the steering wheel. The whole programme was efficiently organised, thanks to the experienced advice and guidance from the Chairman Sri Subhash Maharia. My Special congratulations to Mr.Praveen Kuamar, (Technical chairman and Vice President of AIBKF) Superb technical work, for making this Championships  grand success.

I once again thank each one of you for the effort put in by you in making the name BUDOKAN shine in the international Karate Event.
